Meest to launch 1,000 parcel pick-up and delivery points in Romania together with national operator
Postal and logistics company Meest has entered into a strategic partnership with the Romanian Post (Poșta Română) — the country's national postal operator — to develop a network of parcel delivery and dispatch points (PUDO).

As part of the first phase of the cooperation, Meest and Posta Romania will launch 1,000 Meest Point locations across the country, where customers will be able to receive and send parcels. The network is planned to be gradually expanded in the future.
"This partnership demonstrates that Meest's services and solutions are recognized and implemented at the national level in major European countries. Today, we are the leader among Ukrainian companies in the number of our own parcel delivery and delivery points - the number of PUDOs in our network worldwide exceeds 300,000. We believe that our experience will help us scale our services in Romania and make them even more accessible and convenient," the company's press service notes.
For Posta România, the partnership opens up the opportunity to expand the postal and logistics network, reduce costs and standardize processes at the national level. In addition, the cooperation will allow to increase the efficiency of last-mile delivery.
"This partnership is another step in the development of the e-commerce market in Romania. Together with Meest, we are creating an entire ecosystem that will support businesses, consumers, and the long-term development of online commerce in the country," emphasizes Valentin Stefan, CEO of Poșta Română.
