Social network Threads has launched a new domain it acquired last fall. The web version of competitor X can now be accessed at Threads.com , the company's Meta blog reports.
Threads also received a major update to the web version, improving the user experience. Now, in single-column view, users see their custom feeds at the top of the page — in the same order as on the mobile app.
You can view saved and liked posts via the main menu. To quickly customize the appearance of the page, a new icon has appeared on the right panel, which allows you to add columns. You can also now copy posts from Threads as an image, instead of taking screenshots - this is convenient for publishing on Instagram and other applications.
The “+” button in the bottom right corner opens a pop-up composer that “follows” you as you scroll through your feed so you can share your thoughts right away.
Additionally, the platform is testing a new feature that lets you download a list of people you follow in other apps — initially X (Twitter) — to make it easier to find people you know and help authors grow on Threads.
According to Meta's latest public earnings announcement, Threads' audience reaches over 320 million monthly active users.
