Traditionally, futures traders have faced an impossible choice: invest in profitable commodities and miss out on market opportunities, or keep them in futures accounts where margin sits idle. MEXC’s new solution completely eliminates this dilemma. Now, free cash, margin on open positions, and even assets in pending orders will automatically earn interest while remaining fully available for trading.
The new product design is based on three key principles: accessibility, profitability and reach. The absence of a minimum entry threshold allows everyone from beginners with small balances to professionals with large portfolios to participate. The dual reward system enhances profitability by providing bonuses based on both account balance and the nominal size of open positions. This means that users receive a basic profitability on free funds and at the same time open access to increased rates during the growth of trading activity.
The broad coverage of supported assets ensures that the program is not limited to a narrow circle of traders. USDT and USDC are supported initially as part of USDT-M and USDC-M futures, with plans to expand to coin-margined products in the near future. Together, these features make the system inclusive, scalable, and flexible for different categories of users.
The profitability mechanism is designed with clarity and fairness in mind. MEXC records three daily “snapshots” of account balances (at minimum value) and three daily snapshots of positions (at average value). This data is used to dynamically calculate daily income, which is credited directly to users’ accounts.
All USDT and USDC balances in futures accounts automatically earn a stable Base APR. Additionally, there is an advanced reward system that charges interest based on position size and trading activity. Active positions in USDT-M and USDC-M futures generate additional income based on their total nominal value. The higher the value of the positions, the higher the bonus yield (Bonus APR), which directly increases the profit of active traders. Calculation formula: Balance × (Base APR + Bonus APR) ÷ 365.
