The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is scaling up the guaranteed support project for units holding the front line and conducting active combat operations. As part of the second stage, ground robotic complexes (GRCs) and "heavy" middle strike drones are being added to the monthly deliveries of popular UAVs.
The main goal of the new stage is to expand the range of attack systems and strengthen the enemy's "logistical lockdown." Units on the first line will be guaranteed to receive almost all types of IRCs and heavy middle strike drones capable of delivering strikes to operational depth, the Ministry of Defense reports .
The volume of supplies will be determined taking into account the intensity of hostilities on a specific section of the front.
"With stable, predictable support, the military will be able to better plan operations, show initiative, and not just "put out fires" at the front. And for underfunded units, this will be a good opportunity to increase combat capabilities," emphasized Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mstislav Banik.
The supply will be carried out according to a clear algorithm depending on the type of equipment and the readiness of the units.
Ground Robotic Complexes (GRC): Combat and logistical robots (including kamikaze robots) will be delivered directly to units of the Armed Forces, National Guard, and State Border Service that maintain the defense strip.
Middle strike drones: Heavy drones will be transferred to the corps level. The corps will then distribute them among units that already have trained crews and demonstrate high efficiency in using such systems.
Thanks to this, each corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have a guaranteed resource for delivering strikes to the enemy's rear.
Recall that the "Baseline Level of Support" project started in June 2026 with the closing of the minimum requirements for FPV drones with radio and fiber optics, "mavics", bombers, reconnaissance wings, and light middle strikes.
