"The rally ends democratically." IT-worker figured out how to end rallies in Teams based on a vote by participants who do not want to continue
UX/UI & Product Designer Hanna Shevelova, together with her colleagues, developed a solution for ending meetings in Microsoft Teams based on a vote by rally participants — if the majority does not want to continue.
UX/UI & Product Designer Hanna Shevelova, together with her colleagues, developed a solution for ending meetings in Microsoft Teams based on a vote by rally participants — if the majority does not want to continue.
The IT professional announced the development on her LinkedIn page, posting a link to a demo of the product, which was implemented using the Lovable service.
«A startup in two days, or a story about a product born from a meme,» she announced.
According to Hanna Shevelova, it all started with a picture of an anonymous «end rally» button in Teams.
«I don’t know who the author of this idea was, but it turned out to be crazy enough that I wanted to implement it. In general, it was supposed to remain a joke. But on the second day we had a demo of the service, where participants can anonymously vote for an early end to the rally,» the IT worker shared.
As Shevelyova explains, if enough people are «morally exhausted,» the rally «ends democratically.»
«The most dangerous thing about this story is that this thing even looks like a real product. It seems like it’s time to start a ‘startups born from memes’ section,» she concluded her post, posting a demo of the product.
