On the evening of July 15, calls for peaceful protests appeared on social networks in Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Poltava, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, etc. Their initiator can be considered veteran and former combat medic Dmytro Koziatynskyi, who in 2025 was one of the organizers of actions in defense of the NABU and the SAPO.
"I urge all those who care to come out tomorrow at 9:01 to Franko Square and show the president that we are against constant reshuffles in the government and replacing effective ministers with convenient suitors. Take the cardboard boxes and don't forget that this is a peaceful protest," Dmytro Koziatynskyi wrote on Facebook.
Later, the network was flooded with photos of Ukrainians preparing cardboard posters for the morning.
