According to the press service of the DevDroid company, soldiers of the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade conducted a unique combat operation on the Kinburn Spit.
Thus, the Wolly 7.62 remotely controlled combat module developed by DevDroid, installed on a ground robotic platform, was delivered to the occupied coast using a naval unmanned complex.
After landing, the ground robot completed its combat mission.
«The mission on the Kinburn Spit demonstrated the potential of multi-domain use of robotic systems, when sea and land unmanned platforms work within a single operation. This case can change the very logic of conducting combat missions: equipment is able to deliver other equipment to enemy-controlled territory and perform tasks there without the direct presence of the military,» said DevDroid CEO Yuriy Poritsky.
As dev.ua wrote, according to the R&D director of DevDroid, Western partners are still not ready for ground robots.
