Ukrainian Ptashka drones received microphones for sound reconnaissance and the "Multi-Drone" mode

Ukrainian developer Ptashka Drones has equipped its drones with microphones and implemented the “Multi-Drone” functionality. The new option allows you to detect enemy targets by sound while the drones are in ambush mode.
The developers announced the update on social media and also revealed details to the publication "Militarnyi". The new module provides high sensitivity for detecting potential targets at a considerable distance from the landing site, which allows operators to quickly respond to the movement of enemy equipment and manpower.
"At a distance of 200 meters, you can clearly hear the car moving along the road through the microphone," Ptashka Drones notes.
The "Multi-Drone" functionality allows you to connect an unlimited number of UAVs in standby mode to a single ground control station. This allows you to create a distributed network of sound surveillance in threatening directions.
“You can control and listen to what is happening through the headphones on one selected board, while the others display a light indication of the sound level,” the company representatives explained.
The time a drone stays in standby mode depends on its modification, battery capacity, and flight range. For example, the “Ptashka 15-O-30km” model can remain operational in ambush mode for up to 5 hours after landing 25 km from the operator.
It is noted that the developers provide more detailed technical advice on application directly to representatives of military units.
