First, the new executive director will be introduced to the members of the Union, key stakeholders and partners, and only later - publicly. Diia.City United noted that the preparation for the change of leadership lasted "some time". After completing her work in this position, Mykolska will remain an advisor to Diia.City United for some time and will cooperate with the Strategic Council and the new CEO.
Mykolska led Diia.City United in late 2023, when the organization was just starting to develop. The Union now unites over 250 technology companies and investors, and its Strategic Council includes 21 representatives of technology businesses.
"Natalia headed the Union when it still needed to be built - the team, processes, the trust of participants and partners. During this time, the Union has become an organization that is taken into account by business, the state, and international partners," commented Diia.City United President, MacPaw Founder and CEO Oleksandr Kosovan.
According to the Union, over two years, its legal team has processed over 850 legal and tax appeals from members. Diia.City United has also worked on legislative and regulatory changes for the technology sector, promoting Ukrainian technology companies abroad, and attracting investment.
Mykolska noted that she considers the community that has formed around Diia.City United to be one of the main results of her work.
"During this time, I have once again been convinced of the incredible strength of Ukrainian technology business. I am inspired by companies that, despite the war, continue to create products, attract investments, grow in Ukraine, and scale globally," says the former executive director.
Diia.City United emphasizes that after the change of leadership, the Union's strategic priorities will not change. The organization plans to continue working on the development of Diia.City, the interaction of technological business with the state, the integration of Ukrainian companies into the EU market, and attracting investments.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that more than 4,500 companies, employing more than 206,000 specialists, have already joined the "Diya.City" space.
