SoftServe employee Yuriy Mozil died in the war
At the end of May, Lviv said goodbye to serviceman Yuriy Mozil, who in civilian life worked for the company SoftServe Digital. The defender died while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk direction, while trying to save a wounded comrade.
At the end of May, Lviv said goodbye to serviceman Yuriy Mozil, who in civilian life worked for the company SoftServe Digital. The defender died while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk direction, while trying to save a wounded comrade.
Yuriy Mozil was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), and with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he again stood up for the defense of Ukraine. He defended the territorial integrity of the country as part of the 184th training center of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. For his dedicated service, Yuriy was awarded the medals «War Veteran» and «Participant in hostilities.»
In civilian life, the defender worked as a plumber at Softserv Digital LLC. Colleagues remember him as an extremely bright, decent, and responsible person who was always ready to help others.
«Over the years of working at the company, I was remembered as a decent, very sociable, cheerful and sociable person, always making fun of conflict situations, and treating his duties responsibly and attentively to his colleagues,» said Roman Onyshko, the company’s Senior Office Administrator.
According to his family, Yuriy was kind, courageous, and sociable, had many friends. He was fond of football, was distinguished by his sincerity, cheerfulness, and was always ready to support and help others.
Yuriy Mozil died while performing a combat mission while returning for his wounded comrade. He was considered missing since February 26, 2026.
