As of December 1, 2025, the special tax regime for IT has 3,159 active residents. Since August, their number has increased by 949 companies.
German Infineon designs, develops, manufactures and sells a wide range of semiconductors and system solutions, focusing on the automotive industry, industrial electronics, communication technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), sensor technologies and security.
The company's revenue in 2024 was €15.2 billion. The company has a global workforce of 58,000 employees working in 60 R&D centers and 22 production sites around the world.
According to the data presented by the company at DOU, the Ukrainian office has over 300 specialists. It was originally an office of the American semiconductor manufacturer Cypress Semiconductor, which started operating in 2003. After an acquisition in 2020, the company became part of Infineon Technologies.
After the Russian invasion began, the company stopped supplying products to the Russian market and liquidated the Russian legal entity.
According to People's Deputy Danylo Hetmantsev, in January-November 2025, residents transferred UAH 27.7 billion in taxes to the budget, excluding the Unified Social Security Tax. This is UAH 11.9 billion more than in the same period in 2024.
But at the same time, Getmantsev noted that "Diya.City" did not cover even half of the IT industry, which continues to operate through individual entrepreneurs. He also writes that businesses, having weighed the consequences, more often choose to pay income tax on a general basis in the special regime than "tax on withdrawn capital."
Thus, the share of residents who chose the "tax on withdrawn capital" is 33.7%, and in 11 months of 2025 it decreased by 13%.
