MP Maryana Bezugla is criticizing the draft law on cyber forces in its current form, believing that its content does not correspond to its title. Today, during the speech of its author, Oleksandr Fedienko, she ran to the parliamentary rostrum and had a scuffle with him.

Bezugla expressed her negative assessment of the bill during the live stream of another MP, Oleksiy Honcharenko.

«He (Fedienko — Ed.) is pushing a bill that is nicely named — about cyber forces, but in reality they are creating an inflated staff under Syrsky. They talk about specialists who can join cyber defense, but these specialists are military personnel. Today you carried out the order of the commander-in-chief — any, for example, to hack not only a Russian website, but any that he wants, and tomorrow you did not do it — and you will go to the infantry! Is this the protection of military personnel? Is this the protection of cyber defense specialists?» she said emotionally, without providing a detailed explanation of which provisions of the bill she considers harmful.

We will remind you that during a speech in parliament by MP Oleksandr Fedienko, who called on his colleagues to vote on the law on cyber forces as soon as possible, Maryana Bezugla ran to the podium and started a scuffle with the speaker.

Earlier, the media reported that it was Bezugla who blocked the adoption of the bill with a large number of amendments.

In October 2025, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading Bill No. 12349 on the creation of the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 255 people’s deputies voted for the relevant decision.

At the same time, many representatives of the cyber community are calling for the bill to be passed as soon as possible.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that by the end of last year they plan to complete the formation of the Cyber Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a separate element of the military command system.

It was reported that the future Cyberforces will recruit IT professionals at the Senior/Lead level.
