Ukrainian Sine Engineering and Dwarf Engineering were among 17 European defense companies competing at the NATO Innovation Range showcase competition in Finland. The jury and mentors included Ukrainian military personnel from the 413th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces «Reid».
The head of the Ukrainian delegation, Oles Khudoba, told Defender Media that the competition consisted of pitches and field tests. Well-known companies ARX Robotics, Tekever, Alta Ares, Kraken, and others took part in them.
The teams competed in four categories:
Resilient Connectivity
AI-Enhanced Decision Support
5G/6G and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) Integration
Mission Assurance in Extreme Conditions
The Ukrainian company Sine Engineering won the Resilient Connectivity nomination, where the best communication solutions for drones were selected. Oles Khudoba added that the company already has its own representative office in Finland.
We remind you that NATO is creating a separate cloud system through which Ukraine will be able to promptly transmit combat data to allies. The launch of the service on NATO’s cloud infrastructure is planned for January 2026, but for this the Alliance still needs to agree on the rules for its safe use.
