The scientist not only managed to get the unjustified fine from Reserve+ canceled, but also helped fix the app's bugs. How did he do it?

Senior Researcher of the Department of Physical Electronics of the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of the State University «Kyiv Aviation Institute» Anton Senenko (in the photo on the left — ed.) said that he managed to get the unfounded fine, which appeared on him in «Rezerva+» ostensibly for untimely data updates, canceled.

«From the expanded data in „Reserve+“, information about an open case on an offense under Article 210-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses disappeared as magically as it appeared a week ago. It is not surprising, because no offense existed in nature, all data was updated on time in the CCC itself,» he shared on his Facebook.

According to Anton Senenko, the problem was in the interaction between the application and the CCC, because he first updated his data directly at the military registration and enlistment office, and not through «Reserve+».

«It’s doubly nice that, just like me, information about a non-existent offense has disappeared from thousands of other people,» the scientist added.

He said that after publicizing his problem, he managed to contact the Reserve+ team, thanks to which it was possible to eliminate it, as well as identify two more bugs, which the team continues to work on eliminating.

In one of his previous posts, Senenko explained that Reserve+, in his case, considered the date of his data update not to be the day he contacted the CCC, but the date the application was installed on the phone.

«Why does Reserve+ have a prejudice that you committed a violation? You should have updated your data by July 16, 2024. If you updated everything on time, but the CCC for some reason did not enter this information into the register, Reserve+ considers the data update date to be… the date of installation of the application on the phone. For me, it is November 19, 2024, when I became curious about what kind of beast it is and I downloaded it,» he told the preliminary details.

Senenko emphasized that Reserve+ immediately offers to recognize a violation of military registration independently and create an application in your account to issue a fine, although the violation may not exist in nature, as, in fact, happened with a large number of citizens.

Recall, the day before yesterday we wrote that the Ministry of Defense is launching beta testing of future deferments in «Reserve+», which will be available to new categories of citizens — these are educators, as well as those conscripts who have a husband or wife with disability group 1 or 2. Among educators, such deferments will be available, in particular, to scientific, scientific-pedagogical or pedagogical employees of higher and vocational education.

In turn, Reserve+ recently launched a service for paying fines online without the need to contact the CCC.

The programmer filed documents for an extension of the deferral and learned that he was wanted. The Aityvets decided to appeal the 17,000 UAH fine imposed on him in court: what happened?
