Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere (NAVI) announced the decision to put the NAVI Junior Dota 2 project on pause due to a lack of stability of results in the international arena.
This was reported by the organization’s official website. The club’s management noted that although the team managed to win the UESF Ukrainian Championship 2026 Stage 1, its performances in European online tournaments did not meet expectations regarding the stability of the game.
«We do not rule out a return to the NAVI Junior project with Dota 2 in the future,» the organization noted, adding that the NAVI Visa Academy and NAVI Junior projects will continue to be important for finding young talent.
Despite the dissolution of the current roster, the organization has retained a contract with 15-year-old player Oleksiy «onLitaL» Litovka. He will remain part of the club, but will have the opportunity to play for other teams to gain playing experience.
Players gbc, krol9ash, Gothic-, Hyuga, and coach Sword_Art are leaving the team. NAVI emphasized that this stage allowed the esports players to adapt to the level of the pro scene and grow professionally.
Recall that in 2025, Ukrainian esports athletes earned millions of dollars in tournaments, taking high places in competitions in Counter-Strike, Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and other titles. This is stated in a study by the Esports Charts service, which presented a rating of the most successful Ukrainian esports athletes by the number of prizes won per season.
