Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has opened NDA LAB KPI, a new laboratory at the Faculty of Radio Engineering, which the university created together with the recruitment agency NDA Recruitment. Students will be able to test antennas, work with SDR receivers and GPS navigation, assemble electronics, and create their own prototypes.
The lab is equipped with professional soldering stations, measuring instruments, SDR receivers, GPS modules, navigation controllers, and antennas. This space is designed as a place where students can go all the way from the first experiment to a finished technical solution.
In particular, in the laboratory you can study the radio frequency spectrum and signals, test antennas, work with GPS navigation, digital data processing and thermal imaging diagnostics. Students will also be able to assemble or debug electronic devices and test their own engineering ideas in practice. The laboratory will work with the areas of radio systems, electronics and related technologies.
Earlier, dev.ua wrote that KPI opened an Energy Resilience Lab for future energy professionals, which was created together with the international company RSE and the German MWM. The laboratory has a 600 kW generator set and simulators where students can practice operating energy equipment and connecting generation to the grid.
