The company's founder, Artem Borodotyuk, reported on his Instagram page that the office of the Ukrainian IT company FRACTAL, located in the LIFT99 co-working space near the Olimpiyska metro station, was damaged as a result of a nighttime missile attack on Kyiv.
"We have already had a flight to our Kharkiv office, now to the Kyiv one. These are the conditions in which Ukrainian businesses have to operate for the fourth year in a row," Borodotyuk wrote.
The head of FRACTAL emphasized that the main losses were suffered by the owner of the space, Estonian entrepreneur Ragnar Saas, who owns LIFT99. Saas has constantly invested in Ukraine and supported Ukrainian business. In particular, the entrepreneur launched the Extreme Bootcamp program for Defense Tech startups in Ukraine with an investment fund of 1.5 million euros.
LIFT99 Kyiv Hub is an international community for startups, freelancers and creatives, founded by Estonian entrepreneur Ragnar Sass. The coworking space, located in the center of Kyiv on Volodymyrska Street, is the second after the main office in Tallinn. LIFT99 positions itself as a place where Ukrainian and international startup communities meet.
The space provides workspaces, meeting rooms, recreation areas, and a venue for events focused on the development of Ukraine's technology sector. The LIFT99 community is also actively involved in volunteer initiatives, raising funds and providing support.
Due to the combined missile attack on the night of August 28, 14 people were killed and 38 injured in the capital alone. According to the Air Force report , the enemy launched over Ukraine: 598 strike and imitation UAVs, two Kh-47M2 aeroballistic hypersonic missiles of the Kinzhal complex, 9 9M723 Iskander-M / KN-23 ballistic missiles and 20 Kh-101/Kh-55 cruise missiles. A total of 629 air targets were attacked.
In total, 94% of UAVs and 87% of missile weapons were neutralized.
