Digital Transformation Minister Oksana Ferchuk announced that the state will combat violations in the booking sector, including in the IT sector. At the same time, the minister sees her goal as protecting that part of the IT industry that operates without abuse.
Ferchuk spoke about this in an interview with DOU, noting that she discussed the issue of booking with IT companies and specialized associations.
«What I can say for sure is that the state will pay more attention to compliance with booking rules. We agreed with the community on a simple thing: IT companies must strictly comply with the requirements of the law and prevent abuse. Any abuse calls into question the appropriateness of the tool itself,» Ferchuk expressed her opinion.
According to the new minister, her task is to preserve the conditions in which the IT community can develop.
«The task of the community is to work according to the rules so that there are no cases that require the entire industry to make excuses,» she emphasized at the same time.
Oksana Ferchuk, among other things, mentioned cases when the company booked a certain number of employees and then reduced the staff, but did not review the number of booked employees.
«Such cases are clearly visible in digital systems. I think the state will identify and eliminate them,» the Minister of Digital Transformation assured.
Ferchuk added that changes in the booking sector depend largely on the external context and the dynamics of the war itself.
