The company confirmed to customers that they are working on a solution to the issue.
Judging by complaints on social media, the failure is not limited to the mobile application — problems have arisen with several of the operator’s digital services at the same time.
This is not the first such outage this week. The day before, on September 29, Nova Poshta had already recorded a large-scale outage — then the company later confirmed the restoration of work and compensated for the delay by extending the work of branches for an hour longer that day.
The company said that a DDoS attack is currently underway on Nova Poshta’s systems. "There may be minor temporary difficulties in the operation of the company’s services. However, the situation is completely under our control. We are successfully counteracting it and our IT specialists have already launched backup schemes," the press service noted.
The failure may be related to problems in the operation of Ukrainian data centers that are under attack from the Russian Federation.
