«Nova Post» plans to enter the US market already next year. This was announced by the co-founder of the company, Vyacheslav Klymov.
«I think that the first flag will appear next year in some format,» he said in an interview with the EP.
According to Klimov, the rapid international expansion of Nova Post paid off 100%. «We now have 112 offices, 16 countries and, if I’m not mistaken, 83,000 points of contact,» the businessman noted.
He said that several countries that work in operating profitability. «We have Nova Post Moldova, which has stable and decent profitability. Every month we have all countries growing by over 10%. Therefore, I am absolutely sure that it was the right decision. Many local customers are already appearing in the branches and on address delivery. We have connected most of the countries of our presence with each other without Ukraine, and we continue to grow shipments between these countries, which are used by local residents, not only Ukrainians,» added Klymov.
However, he admits that in some countries brancheshave not yet matured to positive marginality.
According to the co-founder of Nova Post, the company annually allocates several tens of millions of dollars a year to enter new markets. «We will invest this year, I think, about $20 million,» he said, adding that NP’s goal is to become a prominent player in this industry in the world.
With regard to Ukraine, the entrepreneur noted that the company sees a 16% growth by the end of 2024. «Obviously, after the end of the war, this growth will be much faster. There are positive market indicators that indicate that everything is just beginning,» Klimov is convinced.
According to him, the main indicator is the number of parcels per inhabitant of the country. «In Ukraine, every Ukrainian, including children, generates 18 parcels a year. In Poland, this indicator is 36 parcels, in the USA — 68. This is what gives us optimism. I think about the same figures in e-commerce, which inspires them to develop. Therefore, the ceiling is completely invisible,» he explains.
Also, says Klymov, consumers will increasingly order something from abroad.
