«Building Techno Sil for almost three years has become the greatest honor of my professional life. The drone and robotic weapons industry is the second unconditional factor, after the heroism of our military, that preserves the sovereignty of Ukraine. Therefore, I am infinitely grateful to this industry for accepting me in 2022, teaching me, and continuing to fill my activities with meaning every day,» Myhalko said on Facebook.
The Technological Forces of Ukraine is an association of leading manufacturers of all types of weapons, which create innovative solutions to strengthen the Defense Forces. The TSU works on the integration of Ukrainian technologies into the global market and the localization of production in Ukraine.
Kateryna Mykhalko headed the TSU from its inception in 2023 and coordinated the organizational process of creating an association and community of arms manufacturers, as well as promoting Ukrainian manufacturers on international platforms.
«I am leaving this position to give the association the opportunity to take the next step and grow into a more sustainable institution. The transfer of leadership is an important part of this process. I will definitely stay by your side: I will help and support the team and the new leader of the association in all our common goals,» said Kateryna Mykhalko. She said that she will continue to work as the Director General of the European organization, which focuses on the systemic integration of drones into the EU security architecture.
Mykhalko added that she appreciated the invitations from Quantum Systems, Stark, and «a number of other key new defense players.»
According to the former head of the TSU, Russian strike drones are rapidly increasing their flight range and already pose a direct threat to most EU states. They are already capable of reaching even central Europe. In her opinion, Ukraine should become a true partner of the EU in ensuring the security of the entire region.
The TSU thanked Kateryna Mykhalko for her contribution to the development of the organization and the industry as a whole. The association noted that the new Managing Director of the Technological Forces of Ukraine will be announced next Monday, February 9.
