Oleksiy Zozulya left the position of CEO of Foxtrot and handed over management to the owners

The CEO of the Foxtrot chain, Oleksiy Zozulya, announced that he is completing the six-year management cycle of the company and returning it to the operational control of the owners.
Zozulya wrote about the decision on his Facebook page.
«It was an eventful „six“: COVID with a sharp change in the model, the beginning of the war, when the main warehouse in Gostomel burned down for 0.6 billion, recovery, record financial cuts, taxes to the state, assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the best growth in the market in 2025. I am completing this working story. I am returning the Company to the Owners in safe hands,» the top manager said.
Zozula’s management cycle at Foxtrot began with anti-crisis solutions and building an omnichannel sales model. After a full-scale invasion, the chain maintained operations in safe regions, restored logistics after the destruction of the warehouse in Gostomel, and focused on online channels and FAST personnel relocations. As of September 2025, Foxtrot announced 127 stores in 68 cities and the development of the Foxtrot.ua platform and mobile application, which corresponds to the company’s positioning as one of the largest omnichannel technology retailers in Ukraine.
The founders of the brand are Ukrainian entrepreneurs Gennady Vykhodtsev and Valery Makovetsky. According to Zozula, it is their team that is returning operational management of the network; the strategy has been approved, the management has «passed a combat coordination». Historically, Foxtrot is part of the Foxtrot Group, has its own development projects and is a long-standing member of the European Business Association.
It has not yet been announced who will lead the chain after Zozula; the company has not announced any changes to the operation of stores and digital services. Amid the war, the chain declared tax deductions and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also publicly reported on job preservation and volunteer programs.
Foxtrot has been operating on the market since 1994, developing retail electronics and home appliances, as well as online sales channels. Before the full-scale war, the company was among the most successful Ukrainian brands, and in 2025 it continued to expand its geography of presence and update stores. The change of leadership completes a six-year period of centralized transformations and opens a stage of increased control by the owners, who have historically been public speakers for the chain’s strategy.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how CEO of the Foxtrot chain Oleksiy Zozulya reported that the volume of the illegal electronics and household appliances market in Ukraine doubled after the start of the full-scale invasion, reaching 25-30% in monetary terms.
