OnlyFarms instead of OnlyFans: a service for “digital farming” with subscriptions has appeared
A humorous but revealing project called OnlyFarms has gone viral online — a platform that ironically plays on the OnlyFans model, but instead of content creators, it offers… farmers. But this is not a startup or a humorous copy of OnlyFans, but a portal of the Donald Trump administration dedicated to agricultural policy.
The service is positioned as a place where users can «subscribe» to farms, monitor their activities and support producers directly, the White House reported.
What is this anyway?
OnlyFarms is more of a concept or experimental product (and sometimes just a viral joke) that demonstrates:
How the subscription model can work outside the entertainment industry
How the creator economy is transforming into a «producer economy»
What a direct producer-consumer relationship could look like in the agricultural sector
The idea is simple: instead of paid content, you get access to farm life, updates, products, or even «participation» in processes.
The site opens with video clips of Donald Trump in a cowboy hat in the Oval Office with Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins in the background. It then lists the administration’s «achievements»: cutting red tape, supporting farmers and rural communities, and new «Made in the USA» labels for agricultural products.
The Golden Age and the Golden Tractor
The presentation was held with maximum symbolism: farmers from all over the country were invited to the White House, where they were greeted by a large golden tractor installed right on the lawn.
During the meeting, Trump announced the beginning of a «golden age» of American agriculture and positioned himself as the main defender of farmers.
The portal was launched on National Agriculture Day, when Rollins and Trump gathered about 800 farmers at the White House. Trump’s «American dream» included a gold-painted tractor. «It’s a beautiful tractor. It’s a gold tractor. Someone made it just for me. It’s an incredible tractor,» Trump said.
What the administration promises
Among the key statements:
strengthening guarantees for lending to small businesses in the agricultural sector
supporting an industry that has been hit by tariffs and rising prices amid the Iran war
a call for machinery manufacturers such as John Deere and Caterpillar to create «bigger, cheaper tractors»
a promise to reduce regulatory requirements that make manufacturing expensive
Trump also announced a «dramatic update» to fuel standards and support for the use of the E15 gasoline blend (15% ethanol), which currently has seasonal restrictions.
Almost agrarian OnlyFans
The name OnlyFarms has already caused a wave of discussion on social media due to its obvious allusion to OnlyFans.
And although the White House case involves a government portal, the case itself is illustrative:
The format worked not only because of the play on words. It hits several trends at once: monetization of niche content — subscriptions as a universal model, local producers — the demand for transparency and «where does my food come from», AI + no-code products — the rapid creation of viral MVPs.
In fact, this is another example of how a familiar UX model is being transferred to a new industry.
So far, OnlyFarms looks more like a meme or a marketing experiment. But the idea itself is not new: Patreon-like models are already working for craft producers, direct-to-consumer subscriptions are actively growing, and the agricultural sector is gradually digitizing.
«Why not CornHub?»
Dozens of memes were born on X and Reddit about how, if we’re going to use a name by analogy, why not CornHub (the «corn hub» option here is a clear allusion to one of the largest adult video hosting sites). «Do you need to confirm your age to watch a ripe harvest?» users ironically ask.
