Entrepreneur Palmer Luckey’s defense technology company Anduril could double its valuation after a new round of investment.
Anduril is currently in a multibillion-dollar funding round led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, according to The Wall Street Journal. The company raised $2.5 billion last summer at a valuation of $30 billion.
It was previously reported that the new round could bring Anduril up to $8 billion. According to Reuters, it is about attracting $4 billion.
Anduril makes Altius drones, which can be used for surveillance and munitions transport, and says it has delivered hundreds of such systems to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022.
In the summer of 2025, Palmer Luckey, co-founder of the American miltech company Anduril Industries, stated that his company’s weapons helped destroy hundreds of millions of dollars of Russian military equipment, and Anduril did part of the «work» in Ukraine at its own expense.
He also noted that if Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had used artificial intelligence, he would have understood that it was not worth starting a war in Ukraine.
