«Now, a radio reconnaissance specialist can view what the drone is capturing during flight in a separate window of the Azimuth interface,» the company said.
Kvertus noted that the new Azimuth systems have received the video interception function. The company is preparing a solution that allows previously released models to receive this function via the Internet.
The publication «Oboronka» notes that the video from the enemy drone will help determine the direction from which it is moving and the approximate time it will take to arrive. This will make it possible to neutralize the enemy UAV in advance.
In the summer, Ukrainian military expert Serhiy «Flash» pointed out that equipment for intercepting FPV video is expensive, so commanders are placing it further from the front line, where it is less useful.
«Therefore, manufacturers, minimize the price as much as you can. Let the antenna be a little worse, the assembly is not so good. Proximity to the front (signal strength) will fix many reception problems», — noted «Flash.»
According to him, no one wants to install equipment for «200-500 thousand» that will last for one day.
