In total, about 1,000 electronic reports have been processed since last Friday, when the feature was launched. The Ministry of Defense explained why only half of them are accepted.
«The numbers speak for themselves — servicemen were really waiting for the opportunity to change their place of service without long approvals, bureaucracy and groundless refusals. Now, even if the transfer is refused, the system is guaranteed to report the reasons for the negative response,» said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko.
According to her, the most common reasons for refusal are the following:
submission of reports by military personnel not from the ranks of the Armed Forces (currently this option is available only for the Armed Forces);
lack of a conclusion from the VLK (in case of transfer from the combat unit to the rear);
lack of copies of all pages of a military document with records of service.
«Instead, the number of agreed reports demonstrates that the service works effectively. We are already working on making the service available to all Defense Forces,» she said.
