Under the guise of IT specialists for $13,000: another scheme for evaders was uncovered in the Lviv region

A 32-year-old man with a previous conviction promised to "help" a conscript leave for Poland for $13,000.
The suspect was going to update the man's account details, prepare the necessary permits, and get him a job at a foreign IT company, on whose behalf he would go on a business trip abroad. He also undertook to enter information into electronic information systems about his acquisition of the right to travel outside Ukraine, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Defense of the Western Region reports .
The perpetrator was caught red-handed after receiving part of the ill-gotten gains in the amount of $6,000.
During searches of his apartment, military registration documents and passport data of 23 more potential "clients" were discovered and seized.
An investigation is ongoing to identify and prosecute other participants in the criminal scheme.
