The publication’s survey, which included more than 10,000 IT professionals, indicates that most companies are eager to use AI tools and implement them in projects. 30% of specialists indicated that their companies actively encourage the use of AI, another 32% noted that AI is welcomed, but not required. Only 2% have a ban on the technology.
The use of AI is most often encouraged in service companies (67%). The technology is somewhat less welcomed in startups and outstaffing (65% each), as well as in 60% of product companies.
49% of IT professionals who use AI in their work say their employer provides corporate subscriptions to AI tools for teams. Another 9% said companies reimburse the cost of personal subscriptions. 31% of IT professionals say companies do not reimburse paid subscriptions to AI services.
Enterprise subscriptions are most commonly used by product companies (53% vs. 49% overall), but subscription costs are most commonly reimbursed by startups (12% vs. 9% overall).
Companies that do not work in IT often do not provide money for paid AI tools.
