According to the agency, the amount of the fine imposed was 432,350 hryvnias. The reason for the sanctions was that the operator used software from a B2B supplier that did not have an official license to provide such gambling services in Ukraine.
"We are working to ensure that the gambling industry in Ukraine is transparent and responsible," PlayCity representatives commented on their decision.
STARBLOOM GAMING LLC (SLOTOR777) has been legally operating on the Ukrainian market since September 2023, when the company received the appropriate license to organize and conduct casino gambling on the Internet.
According to current regulations, the requirement to use only certified software and cooperate only with licensed B2B providers is a basic condition for the operation of the iGaming market. Failure to comply with this rule entails financial penalties and may be a reason for additional business inspections.
