The PlayCity regulator imposed financial sanctions on SPORT SOGODNI LLC in the amount of UAH 5.2 million. The reason for the fine was the repeated placement of illegal gambling advertising in online media using the brand of an illegal gambling organizer.
This was reported by PlayCity. LLC "SPORT TODAY" is the legal entity of the online sports media Tribuna.com in Ukraine.
This is the second financial sanction applied to SPORT TODAY LLC for a similar violation. In October 2025, the regulator already imposed a fine of UAH 4.8 million on the company for hidden advertising of illegal bookmakers.
The company disagreed with the previous decision and appealed it in court. The court of first instance supported PlayCity’s position, after which the media filed an appeal, the consideration of which is currently ongoing.
Previously, the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF Marketing LLC) received a fine of almost UAH 5.2 million for violating the law when advertising gambling.
