Popereshnyuk proposes that the state "subtract" the losses caused by the Russians from the amounts of taxes paid by Ukrainian companies
Co-owner of Nova Poshta Volodymyr Popereshnyuk believes that the state leadership should introduce a system of compensation for losses caused to Ukrainian business from enemy missile and drone strikes.
Co-owner of Nova Poshta Volodymyr Popereshnyuk believes that the state leadership should introduce a system of compensation for losses caused to Ukrainian business from enemy missile and drone strikes.
In his opinion, compensation for such losses can be achieved by reducing the tax burden by the appropriate amount.
«This will allow those who have suffered to recover faster. But more importantly, it will give confidence to everyone else, it will be a signal that investments in Ukraine are protected. By the way, this will not create major losses for the budget, but it will provide a huge profit for the future of the economy,» the co-owner of Nova Poshta wrote on his Facebook page.
If such a system is not implemented, then, in Popereshnyuk’s words, «it will affect not only a specific enterprise, but also the desires of Ukrainians and foreigners to invest and develop our economy.»
The businessman emphasized that it is better for the state to provide security guarantees to those who create jobs and pay taxes today than to lose much more tomorrow.
