The greatest demand, according to the organization, is for data management services, cloud migration services, and modernization of legacy systems, the association adds. «The marginality of classic service models is decreasing,» the Lviv IT Cluster adds.
The cluster adds that the market has become more demanding: clients expect not just order fulfillment, but also a noticeable business result. «This includes demonstrated return on investment. This approach requires rethinking, Ukrainian technology companies are gradually demonstrating this,» the Lviv IT Cluster explains. They note that the structure of contracts is changing: more shorter, project-based, result-oriented models are emerging.
According to Horizon Capital analyst Andriy Brodetsky, also quoted by Forbes, «demand for large projects is declining due to instability. According to his assessment, demand for artificial intelligence projects has increased significantly, while demand for all others has fallen.»
«The impact of AI is mixed,» says Brodetsky. «There is a high demand for AI projects, but clients expect orders to be executed by small teams using AI.» He says the new contracts could result in cost reductions of 30%.
