Apple is set to hold an event on October 28th, where it is rumored to debut a touchscreen MacBook for the first time. The company may also unveil new computers with M6 chips and an iPad mini with an OLED display.
This is reported by Engadget.
The event is called "Pro and Tell" and will take place in Los Angeles. Apple has already invited journalists and bloggers to get acquainted with the new products, but has not yet revealed what exactly it is going to show.
However, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has already shared the details. According to him, Apple is preparing 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with OLED displays and M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The new laptops should also be noticeably lighter than current models.

Apple is also rumored to be updating its entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac all-in-ones. They could get the M6 chip from Apple's next-generation processors. It should speed up computers, including when processing video, working with graphics, and running AI models. According to Apple, the Mac mini with the M6 performs artificial intelligence tasks up to four times faster than the previous model with the M4.
The iPad mini is also expected to have an OLED screen instead of LCD, which will give it deeper blacks, better contrast, and better picture quality.
For now, the specifications of the devices remain unofficial. Whether the journalists' predictions will come true will be known during the presentation.
