According to the verdict, in October 2023, the programmer began communicating on Telegram with a representative of Biocard Logistics. He introduced himself as the head of software development for the company’s "1C:Enterprise" and offered the Ukrainian to perform tasks related to its software.

This included, in particular, the systems that the company used to form and process customer orders, financial and economic accounting, product accounting, website operation, and accounting.
The court found that the programmer knew about the company’s Russian origin and continued to perform work for it. He received payment in cryptocurrency to his crypto wallet.
Among the tasks that appear in the case materials are making changes to the program code for 1 °C, correcting errors in the accounting program, and eliminating problems during data exchange with CRM Bitrix.
In April 2025, the programmer was tasked with creating software code for the 1 °C:Enterprise environment. In September of that year, according to the court, he also processed electronic images of documents — superimposing a graphic image of the seal of a Russian institution on them to give the documents the appearance of being officially executed.
Biocard Logistics worked with the Russian public sector. According to the data provided in the verdict, the company has fulfilled nine government contracts since the beginning of 2022 for a total of 17.469 million rubles.
Among the customers were Russian state and municipal structures in the field of healthcare, in particular the Roszdravnadzor institution, the Moscow Department of Healthcare, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, and the Russian Ministry of Emergencies.
According to the case materials, in 2022–2025, Biocard Logistics paid about 650 million rubles in taxes and mandatory payments to the Russian budget. The amount of tax payments for 2024, reliably confirmed by the court, is 188 million rubles.
The court approved the plea agreement that the programmer entered into with the prosecutor on September 4, 2026. The man unconditionally admitted his guilt and agreed to assist in the investigation of other similar criminal offenses known to him.
He was fined 170,000 UAH and banned for 11 years from holding positions in state and local government bodies, state and municipal enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as from engaging in entrepreneurial and economic activities. The convicted person’s property is subject to confiscation.
Separately, the court ordered the special confiscation of a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen1 laptop. The verdict states that this equipment was used to communicate with representatives of Biocard Logistics, receive and carry out their tasks.
Among the mitigating circumstances, the court took into account sincere remorse, active assistance in solving the crime, and a voluntary charitable contribution of UAH 100,000 to the account of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The verdict is dated September 16, 2026. It can be appealed within 30 days.
