The main feature of the service is that all calculations are performed directly through the user's personal subscription to Claude, ensuring a high level of privacy and transparency.
The AI planner was developed by the independent studio Qiksy, where Dmytro works as Head of Engineering.
Unlike classic booking services, Qiksy Route does not require complex forms with numerous fields. The user only needs to formulate a request in simple words.
"The trip here is not filled out in the fields. It is dictated by the words: 'from Kyiv to Rio de Janeiro on October 20, back on November 3, Vasyl, Olena and Andriy are going' — and Route itself breaks it down into cities, dates and travelers from your card file," notes Dmytro Lesnyak on LinkedIn.
After receiving the request, the AI agent starts the real search. All its actions are broadcast on the screen: the developer emphasizes that the agent works directly with primary sources - opens carrier pages, schedules and hotels, voicing each step. The search takes several minutes, as the system needs time to process real web pages instead of just a request to one aggregator.
Particular attention in the update was paid to checking formalities, which is carried out even before the payment stage:
checking the validity period of the passport (whether it expires before the return date);
compliance with the Schengen 3-month rule and the 6-month requirement for other destinations;
checking the age of passengers on the day of departure;
calculation of the remaining days if a visa is required for travel.
At the same time, the developers deliberately refrained from making final verdicts regarding visa requirements or mandatory vaccinations.
"We do not give a verdict on visas and vaccinations intentionally. It depends on citizenship and the entire route, including transit, and the price of a sure mistake is a person turned away at the border. Instead of a verdict, we give sources to look at," the engineer explains.
Qiksy Route is aimed at three main categories of users:
for companies that organize business trips and regular employee transfers, with the ability to set up cost centers and approval chains;
for planning family trips or individual tourist information routes (tickets, hotels, local transport);
The service can work as an information board "how to get here" even without registration and binding to dates (for example, for the Kyiv - Zhytomyr route, electric trains, trains, buses and taxis are displayed).
A significant advantage of the tool is that it takes into account the specifics of domestic markets. Since search engines do not always reflect real logistical restrictions (for example, closed skies over Ukraine), the agent builds complex combined routes taking into account trains, buses, night journeys, and delays at the border.
To run the system, you need to install the Qiksy engine on your own machine, download the browser extension, and have a paid Claude subscription. Since all calculations are done on the client side, the developers do not collect trip data and do not limit the number of searches or tokens. In addition, the same Claude subscription integrates with other ecosystem tools, such as Qiksy Offer and Qiksy Deal.
Tariff schedule:
free of charge: for personal and family needs (one group of up to 8 travelers without restrictions on the number of searches);
paid: for organizing trips for third parties (HR departments, travel agencies with separate client bases);
enterprise: individual customization for corporate business travel rules upon request.
Finally, the developer adds an honest disclaimer regarding localization: the trip content is generated in the language the agent searched in. When changing the interface language, only the controls are translated, while the text of the schedule itself remains in the original language, which the service immediately warns the user about.
