German-Ukrainian joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries will supply the National Guard with "Linza" and "Zoom" drones in 2027
The Quantum Frontline Industries joint venture has signed a new contract with the National Guard of Ukraine for the supply of unmanned systems in 2027. As part of the agreement, the Ukrainian military will receive new batches of Linza 3.0 strike drones-bombers and Zoom 3.0 reconnaissance drones.
The signing of the agreement was announced by representatives of the founding companies Frontline Robotics and Quantum Systems and the commander of the NSU, Oleksandr Pivnenko. To fulfill the order, QFI plans to expand its production facilities in Germany and move to serial production on an industrial scale.
Both systems were developed by the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics, taking into account combat experience and feedback from the military. The Linza 3.0 drone-bomber is designed to perform strike and logistical tasks in conditions of active electronic warfare. It is capable of carrying up to 4 kg of payload over a distance of up to 15 km with a flight time of up to 60 minutes. Currently, this model is used by more than 80 units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The Zoom 3.0 reconnaissance drone is used to detect targets, determine their coordinates, and adjust fire. Thanks to artificial intelligence-based navigation and autonomous operation, the drone is able to receive accurate data even in the event of jamming of standard radio communication channels. Its tactical radius reaches 20 km, and the flight duration is up to 60 minutes.
"Production in Germany gives us additional capacity to scale solutions proven in Ukraine and supply them to the military in larger volumes. We are grateful to the National Guard of Ukraine for their trust and cooperation," said Pavlo Kosolapkin, co-founder and technical director of Frontline Robotics.
The Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko, emphasized the importance of developing domestic developments: "It is strategically important for Ukraine to have its own technological solutions, develop them and gradually reduce dependence on foreign analogues. Our success is possible only when we have our own Ukrainian product and can scale it."
Quantum Frontline Industries is the first German-Ukrainian joint venture in the field of defense technologies, created by the German Quantum Systems and the Ukrainian Frontline Robotics as part of the Build with Ukraine initiative. The production lines are located in Germany, while the development, testing and improvement of unmanned systems take place in Ukraine.
Quantum Frontline Industries drones with AI and electronic warfare protection have already begun to be shipped to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
