Ukrainian defense company Fire Point has announced the completion of the first phase of international integration of its Freyja (FP-7X) anti-ballistic missile, a significant step that brings it closer to serial production.

One of the key partners in the Freyja project is the German company Diehl Defence, which will supply infrared homing heads. Deliveries of these components are expected to begin in August, allowing for the launch of mass production of the missile.
“The first phase of Freyja development is complete. The FP-7X could begin mass production as early as August, after Fire Point receives German infrared homing heads from Diehl Defense,” Fire Point said in a statement to X.
In addition to Diehl Defence, other leading European defense companies have joined the Freyja project, including Eurosam, Leonardo, Thales, and Saab.
