Ukrainian developer of electronic warfare systems Unwave has introduced the multi-channel electronic warfare complex «Choven-2» for countering UAVs. It is designed in the form factor of a car trunk, which allows for easy installation on a car with appropriate roof mounts.
Unwave says that the «Choven-2» can be used while moving and to protect stationary positions. The complex is based on the best-selling «Shatro» line, but adapted to the autobox format.
The developers emphasize that «Choven-2» is manufactured in Ukraine with minimal use of imported components. Key components, assembly and quality control are performed by our own team in Ukraine.
The car trunk format offers the following advantages:
installation on standard rails;
no interference with the interior or body;
preserving the civilian appearance of the car;
protected placement of all modules and antennas.

Unwave notes that the «Choven-2» configuration can be adapted to a specific make and model of car. When ordering, the company will take into account the type of mounts and the features of the user’s car roof.
Previously, dev.ua spoke with the chief engineer of Unwave about the fully computerized Pastka system, which allows operators to control the operation of drone detection and suppression tools via an interactive map.
