The development, which has a maximum speed of 250 km/h and a cruising speed of 100 km/h, was noticed by Defender Media.
According to the manufacturer, this drone has already destroyed at least 300 enemy targets, and the use of the UAV has been confirmed in 8 combat units of the Defense Forces. The drone is currently undergoing codification.
The drone can stay in the air for up to 60 minutes. Its range is up to 80 km, and the maximum flight altitude is 5,000 meters. The HOT DOG is capable of carrying a payload of up to 1.6 kg, and can be launched both from a catapult and by hand.
It is also worth noting that the «HOT DOG» is equipped with an analog daytime camera and a thermal imager with a resolution of 640×512 pixels, which provides detection of thermal signatures at a distance of up to 1.7 km. The manufacturer also claims the possibility of simultaneous operation of the daytime and thermal imaging channels.
A two-channel, jam-proof system is used for communication, which must ensure stable operation in conditions of enemy electronic warfare.
The cost of one «HOT DOG» on the Brave1 marketplace is about 98,000 UAH.
