Maria’s husband, military serviceman Danylo Yivzhenko, reported her death, the Institute of Mass Information reports .
“The car burned down, Masha died. I lost a friend, a girlfriend, a wife, the mother of my future children, who will now be gone,” wrote Danylo.
At the same time, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of NV Business Oleksandra Nekraschuk reported that Maria Yivzhenko was a talented journalist who sought to explain complex technological topics in an accessible way.
"She wrote about defense tech, Ukrainian IT, and technologies that are changing the course of this war, simply explained the most complex things, and sincerely sought to help her country. Her kindness and smile will remain in the memory of everyone who had the honor of knowing her," Nekraschuk wrote.
According to her, a few months ago, Maria decided to move to the corporate sector, but they continued to communicate.
According to the Institute of Mass Information, Maria Yivzhenko became the 138th victim among media workers who died as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
