The enemy attack on a civilian car carrying a scientist took place on a highway near Pyatikhatki.
«The villain who controlled the killer drone deliberately targeted a civilian traveling to Kharkiv… An incredibly kind person. A professional, sensitive teacher, colleague, mentor. Always attentive, balanced, intelligent. That’s how everyone who was lucky enough to work and study next to him knew him. Damn you, murderers…», the university’s website states.
The university also reminded that Gennady Simbirsky is a representative of the Kharkiv Institute of Technology teaching dynasty, because his father, Professor Dmytro Fedorovych Simbirsky, also raised more than one generation of engineers.
