"The fixed Internet market is clearly divided into two parts." Hetmantsev on the fight against Internet operators who, in order to reduce taxes, are divided into dozens of individual entrepreneurs

According to Danylo Hetmantsev, the chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, there are a large number of companies operating in the fixed Internet market that are «split» into individual entrepreneurs for the purpose of «tax optimization», so the state will fight them.
«The fixed Internet connection market is clearly divided into two parts. On the one hand, these are large and medium-sized „white“ operators that conscientiously pay VAT. On the other hand, large and medium-sized companies that are divided into individual entrepreneurs in order to avoid paying this tax. It is the latter that have become the object of close attention from the state,» Hetmantsev noted on his YouTube channel, quoted by NV.ua.
The head of the tax committee gave an example when a company from Cherkasy region with a base of 18,500 subscribers and revenue of almost UAH 60 million for 9 months of 2024 was divided into 49 individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.
In turn, a company from Khmelnytskyi region, which has 49,500 clients and revenue of UAH 117 million for 9 months of 2024, provides services through 19 individual entrepreneurs.
«With an income of UAH 120 million in 9 months, this is by no means a small business, for which a single tax was created at one time,» he emphasized.
According to Getmantsev, it is quite easy to detect such violations, because these individual entrepreneurs are usually managed by one or more accountants, are registered at the same address, have a single organizer, and banks consider them as a single client.
The National Commission for Economic and Financial Stability confirmed that Internet providers have the right to operate on a simplified taxation system
