Samsung Unveils World’s First 130-inch Micro RGB TV with Next-Gen Color and Bold New Design

Samsung Electronics today unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV (model R95H) at CES 2026, marking the debut of its largest Micro RGB display and a new design direction for ultra-premium displays.

«Micro RGB is the pinnacle of our image quality innovation, and the new 130-inch model further expands that horizon,» said Hong Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. «We are reviving the spirit of our original design philosophy, introduced over a decade ago, to create a truly premium display engineered with next-generation technology.»

Bold design that redefines what a TV can do

The Micro RGB TV’s impressive dimensions, next-generation color technology, and vibrant design reflect Samsung’s long-standing leadership in engineering excellence, combined with premium aesthetics. With a monumental frame and enhanced sound quality, the 130-inch display is purpose-built to look less like a TV and more like a giant window that visually expands the space of a room.

The TV offers a modern, gallery-inspired aesthetic with Timeless Frame, a modern evolution of Samsung’s 2013 Timeless Gallery design, now with a sophisticated bezel that embodies the philosophy of «technology as art.» The oversized screen, inspired by the frame of a large architectural window, appears to float within its confines, transforming the TV into an artistic centerpiece that shapes the look of the room. Sound, integrated into the display frame, is carefully balanced with the size of the screen, so images and audio feel naturally connected in space.

An unparalleled viewing experience that matches its scale

The 130-inch Micro RGB model features Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB innovations to date. With Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, it uses artificial intelligence to enhance dull tones and enhance contrast, delivering vivid colors and fine details in both bright and dark scenes for a lifelike and accurate picture.

The display enhances image quality with Micro RGB Precision Color 100, delivering 100% BT.2020 wide color gamut. Certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for accurate Micro RGB color reproduction, it creates controlled hues that look realistic on screen. The 130-inch model also features Samsung’s patented Glare Free technology, which minimizes glare while maintaining color clarity and contrast in a variety of lighting conditions for the best viewing experience.

The product supports HDR10+ ADVANCED1 and Eclipsa Audio for enhanced picture and sound quality, and Samsung’s enhanced Vision AI Companion 2, which enables voice search, proactive recommendations, and access to features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity. This first-of-its-kind display is being showcased at Samsung’s booth at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
