The Cabinet of Ministers is considering canceling 100% of the reservation of employees of critical enterprises. According to Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, some companies are using this mechanism to increase staff and reserve even those employees whose work is not critical.
Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky stated this during Question Hour to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on October 16.
As an example, the prime minister cited one of Ukrenergo's contractors. The company has booked all 100 employees, although only 20 of them perform work directly for Ukrenergo.
However, Koretsky assured that enterprises that are truly important for defense and energy should not worry.
"There is nothing to worry about for critical enterprises, which are truly critical for both the defense complex and the energy complex. I can say with confidence that there will be no radical changes for these people, for these industries," the Prime Minister explained.
But there is no final decision yet. The government is still finalizing the resolution and promises to publish specific changes after its adoption.
Earlier, dev.ua wrote that the government is preparing changes to the reservation system that could significantly reduce the number of reserved workers. Also, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has prepared a draft resolution aimed at revising the government's decision of October 13 regarding reservations.
