Starting October 1, Nova Poshta reduced the period of free storage of items in branches from seven to five days.
The changes were reported in Novaya Poshta.
The company explains this by security risks due to Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure. Novaya Poshta notes that the less time a shipment is in the branch, the lower the risk of its loss or damage due to attacks. However, the company expects that most customers will hardly notice the changes, because according to the company's internal statistics, 97% of shipments are collected by recipients within the first five days.
The new terms apply to documents, parcels, cargo, tires and rims. For pallets, everything remains the same - three days of free storage.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Nova Poshta may suspend the work of individual branches, terminals, and depots even before the official announcement of an air alert.
