The manufacturer told Bloomberg at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK on July 20-21; details about the drone’s capabilities and price were revealed by the manufacturer to Defender Media.
The first midstrike in the SkyFall product line has a range of up to 600 km and a combat load of 40–50 kg depending on the mission. The complex can be equipped with fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation or other types of warhead according to mission requirements — it is designed to engage a wide range of targets.
The estimated cost of the drone is $25,000–30,000, depending on the configuration. SkyFall claims that the complex already has a proven track record of successful combat use, although details are not yet disclosed.
According to the company, the drone is already in mass production and is being supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces; SkyFall also has contracts with international partners for the supply of these complexes. «By the end of the year, we plan to reach production capacity of up to 1,000 units per month,» the company says.
SkyFall plans to publish an official release in the near future, revealing the name of the drone and other details.
