Smart City Expo World Congress brings together representatives of city governments, businesses and the technology community from around the world. This year, organizers expect over 25,000 visitors, over a thousand exhibitors and representatives from around a thousand cities.
Ukrainian experience for modern challenges
A full-scale war has posed acute issues for Ukrainian cities regarding the protection of critical IT infrastructure, the continuous operation of important systems, and the coordination of services during threats. In such conditions, it is important not only to receive information from cameras, sensors, and dispatching systems, but also to see the interrelation of events and organize a timely response.
"Today, Ukrainian cities are operating in conditions that cannot be prepared for using conventional scenarios alone. We see from our own experience how important it is for various systems not only to collect information, but also to help quickly assess the situation and coordinate actions. And today, Ukraine has not only experience in overcoming these challenges, but also its own technological solutions that it can share with the world," notes Yaroslav Kholodov, founder of the Ukrainian Infosystems company.
From Ukrainian experience to technological solutions
The central place in the exposition will be occupied by two Ukrainian software platforms - C.T.A.N. and Gleit, which unite disparate systems and help work with incidents.
S.T.A.N. is a Smart City platform for situational awareness, incident management, and coordination of city services. It integrates data from video surveillance, video analytics, IoT sensors, transportation, and engineering systems into a single information environment. This helps to track events, assess the situation, coordinate responses, and monitor task performance.
Gleit is an enterprise PSIM platform for managing physical security of restricted areas and facilities. It integrates disparate security systems, provides operators with a common picture of events, and supports consistent incident response procedures.
CROSSENSE , a Ukrainian platform for managing road traffic and traffic flows (Traffic Management System, TMS), will also be presented. It is designed for centralized management of traffic light objects, coordination of their operation, monitoring of equipment status and adaptive traffic control based on data from traffic detectors, video cameras and traffic monitoring systems. The solution will be presented at the exhibition together with traffic light controllers from the Ukrainian manufacturer Rostok-ELEKOM Group.
Ukrainian expertise on the international stage
Yaroslav Kholodov will join the congress program as a speaker at the session Cities That Learn: How Digital Platforms are Building the Cognitive City, dedicated to the role of digital platforms in urban development.
The partnership with Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 makes it possible to present Ukrainian developments to an international audience, exchange experiences, and discuss opportunities for cooperation outside Ukraine.
