According to Mediasat, citing Apptopia data, the number of monthly active users (MAU) has increased by more than 100% year-on-year. This trend has been maintained for the fourth quarter in a row. In parallel, the number of app installations has increased: in the first three months of the year there were 2.8 million, which is 109% more than last year.
The service is expanding fastest in Latin America. In Brazil, active users grew by about 450% year-over-year, and the country’s share of the global base rose to 13%, up from less than 5% a year earlier. In Argentina, the growth was 159%. Together, these two markets now form more than 20% of Starlink’s global audience.
The US remains the service’s largest market, with MAUs up 223% year-over-year and app downloads reaching 1.2 million in the quarter, the highest of any country. US users account for approximately 37% of the total audience.
Overall, Starlink continues to scale as a global satellite internet service. As of February 2026, its subscriber base exceeded 10 million in over 160 countries, and since launch, the company has launched over 10,000 satellites, forming one of the largest satellite networks in the world.
