The Ukrainian company Wild Hornets, which produces drones for the Defense Forces, has introduced the Hornet vision control station with a range of over 30 km.
«Hornet vision is a digital complex equipped with all the necessary functionality, which consists of a unique 2-in-1 ground control station. Thanks to this „ground station“, fighters have the opportunity to operate both digital STING drones and analog ones,» the developers reported .
The station’s antenna module is equipped with a circular video antenna that operates 360 degrees and eliminates the need for the military to rotate the antenna in the direction of travel of the interceptor. The Hornet vision control station also records video and has a function for broadcasting.

Detection of air targets at a distance of up to 2 kilometers.
Independent communication channels, with the ability to switch on the fly.
The video and radio signal coverage radius is 360 degrees.
Operating range — 30+km.
The autonomous operation time of the ground complex is 24 hours.
Hornet vision is equipped with night thermal and daytime cameras and transmits video in HD quality. It can be installed on any drone and is cheaper than Chinese models.
Recall that STING interceptor drones recently became available for purchase with e-points through decentralized procurement procedures. Wild Hornets noted that these UAVs have already hit over 2,000 targets.
