The American leader wrote about this on his social network Truth Social, urging the industry to switch to a new concept. According to Trump, the term "superintelligence" much better reflects the current capabilities of the technology and forms a more positive perception of it in society.
"The White House considers anyone who uses the term 'artificial intelligence' instead of the generally accepted new and more accurate term 'superintelligence' to be an ENEMY!" Trump declared.
As part of this initiative, the White House has already updated its official website, removing references to AI and replacing them with the abbreviation SI (Superintelligence). At the same time, the domain name of the resource remained ai.gov. Instead of a description of the previous "AI Action Plan" on the home page, a link to the decree on renaming the technology was placed.
Billionaire Elon Musk has already announced that he will change the name of his SpaceXAI project to SpaceXSI . On the eve, Trump presented Musk and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang with the National Medal of Science, the highest government awards in the field of science and engineering.
